Interview: Layla Schlack

Anna speaks with journalist and editor Layla Schlack about storytelling in drinks media. They discuss how things have changed and also what it means to be a journalist in this area, the responsibility to seek out the stories less her and ask the difficult questions around labour and environmental practices.

Layla has specialist in wine writing for the last five or so years and has just taken up a new role at (Sourced favourite) Whetstone magazine, she talks about the freedom of independent press and the difficulties of mainstream media to shift focus.

Layla also talks about what wine she likes and why Alsace is an interesting wine region.
