Jon Darby is the founder of Sin Gusano, a project that connects drinkers to small-batch agave spirits through retail sales and the Mezcal Appreciation Society (MAS) subscription service. What we love about this project is that Jon is really conscientious about connecting his clients to the producers he sources from through education on mezcal and agave spirits in general. In our conversation Jon shares what he finds interesting about the array of agave spirits he sources, how access to a global market can be tricky for smaller producers and what global interest in spirits can do to local agriculture.
